How it works

A disciplined path to stronger operations.

Whether the starting point is an advertised role or an operating problem, we enter through a defined requirement, work inside the operation and build the capability and control the business needs next.

The SolidSimple engagement moves from an operating requirement through entering, establishing, stabilising, building and embedding to create a stronger business.
This is not a clean waterfall. Establishing the position, stabilising immediate exposures and building control overlap as new facts emerge inside the operation.
01

Enter

Begin inside the operation with a controlled initial mandate, access and authority to take responsibility.

A defined place to start, not a claim that everything is already known

02

Establish

Work through the people, systems, records and actual operating activity to make the real position visible.

Known facts, missing information, constraints and immediate exposures

03

Stabilise

Act on urgent decisions, continuity risks and commercial exposures while the wider position is still emerging.

Immediate control and visible operating movement

04

Build

Put in the management rhythm, ownership and operating mechanisms the business needs next.

Workstreams, routines, controls and capability

05

Embed

Make the stronger way of operating durable inside the business rather than dependent on us.

Internal ownership, handover and sustained discipline

The first 90 days

A serious horizon for embedded action.

An engagement will typically begin with a 90-day initial mandate. It is long enough to get inside the operation and create movement, while keeping the next commitment tied to evidence, results, working fit and the capability the business actually needs.

Days 1–30

Enter the operation, stabilise immediate exposures and refine the working position.

Days 31–60

Lead the priority work, establish accountability and remove immediate constraints.

Days 61–90

Consolidate the operating rhythm, assess capability and agree the next horizon or handover.

Working relationship

Governance remains clear. Operating responsibility is real.

What you can expect from us

  • Direct leadership, including when the position is uncomfortable
  • Clear separation between fact, judgement and decision
  • Follow-through on the work we accept responsibility for
  • A current operating record in the client workspace

What the engagement needs from the business

  • Access to the people, work and information required to act
  • A clear owner or director sponsor
  • Timely decisions where authority remains with ownership
  • Willingness to address the real issue rather than only the symptom

Need the capability, but not necessarily the headcount?

Start with the operating requirement, not the assumed structure.

Bring the role, operating problem or transition. We identify the right way to enter the operation and define a controlled initial mandate.
